This business selling handmade Far East products required a full branding design from logo to ecommerce website.
about foot in the east
The team at Foot in the East search the far-flung corners of Asia to exclusively bring their customers the most unique and desirable products these mystical and beautiful lands have to offer. Ranging from fine silk scarves to traditional hand carved animal figures, they only sell ethically sourced products.
A new website required a whole new look…
Foot in the East already had an ecommerce website using the Prestashop open-source software but they weren’t happy with the design – they wanted a more visually appealing site with bigger and better images. The support they received from their previous hosting company was below par too. Although they could do some small updates themselves, they relied on the hosts to perform any additional changes. These were slow to materialise and were expensive. Their yearly hosting fees were very expensive and they felt they were not getting the service they deserved.
After initial discussions it was decided that 3B’s Studio would design a brand new Wordpress website, using the Woocommerce shopping platform and 3B’s Studio would import all the products, orders, customers and invoices from the Prestashop platform to Wordpress.
Foot in the East also said they weren’t happy with their current logo so it was an ideal opportunity for a complete re-brand. Gone is the orange/pink elephant logo, replaced with a more serene Lotus Flower symbol with calming colours – to reflect the type of products Foot in the East are selling.

“We weren’t happy with the design of our old website, or the service we received so when we were recommended 3B’s Studio by another business we got in touch and our journey began. Six months on and we are more than happy with the results. We’re not ‘techie’ people so the advice and help given has made the whole experience even more pleasurable. We can’t recommend 3B’s Studio highly enough.”
